**Pay:** $23.75 an hour
_This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, requiring applicants to work on a W2 basis and transition to full-time employment after the contract period. Responsibilities:
Role Description:
The IT Systems Technician will be responsible for the installation, configuration, servicing, repair, and maintenance of IT systems in both stand-alone and client-server environments. Key responsibilities include:
+ Managing hardware and software for network services, storage networking devices, and servers.
+ Integrating multiple Information Systems (IS) in a networked environment.
+ Evaluating and resolving customer IS problems.
+ Performing necessary hardware upgrades and repairs to maintain mission capability.
+ Installing and configuring wireless hubs, routers, switches, and various transmission media.
+ Ensuring proper installation and configuration of workstation hardware and software for efficient network operation.
+ Installing, optimizing, and troubleshooting Local Area Networks (LAN) and Base Area Networks (BAN).
+ Working with technologies such as IPv6, EIGRP, BGP, VLANs, VPNs, and NAT.

+ A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
Certifications Required:
Candidates must possess one or more of the following certifications:
+ CompTIA A+ CompTIA Network+ Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
+ Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA)
+ Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
Education Requirements:
Security Clearance:
+ Must possess a Secret Clearance.
Education Level:
+ High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
_Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range._
