    Position Summary

    The Renewables Compliance Analyst is in the Strategy & Business Development – Renewable and Low Carbon Fuels (R&LC) organization, specifically in the Carbon and Renewable Regulatory Assurance (CRRA) group, which primarily supports the evaluation of current and future renewable regulatory impacts and manages the company’s renewable fuel supply and compliance requirements.

     

    This position is in the CRRA Feedstocks team and will assist with ensuring renewable feedstocks are compliant with the renewable programs. This position will execute various feedstock tracking processes and assist with quality assurance of the required traceability documentation. In addition, the position includes vetting and onboarding new suppliers, feedstock types, and feedstock facilities. This requires close collaboration with feedstock schedulers and traders, Business Development, and Asset Development.

     

    To be successful in this role the individual should be self-driven, innovative with a growth mindset, possess great interpersonal skills in working with internal & external stakeholders, and have strong analytical skills. This position is located in Findlay, OH.

    Key Responsibilities:

    The primary responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:

    + Supports Renewable and Low Carbon Fuels compliance.

    + Renewable feedstock subject matter expert for the renewable fuel programs (i.e., RFS, California LCFS, Oregon CFP, WA Clean Fuel Program).

    + Onboard new feedstock suppliers through implementing the supplier vetting program to ensure they meet the regulatory requirements.

    + Coordinate with feedstock traders and schedulers on logistic issues encountered to ensure full feedstock traceability.

    + Coordinate with the fuel production facilities and aggregation facilities to ensure measurement and monitoring systems are compliant for consumption reporting.

    + Assist Business Development and Asset Development with the investigation and due diligence of new feedstock types/processes and major suppliers.

    + Supports the development and implementation of new regulatory feedstock requirements.

    + Communicates regulatory requirements to product traders and other stakeholders that could impact commercial business.

    + Reviews and updates processes and procedures related to regulatory fuels requirements.

    + Establishes productive and collaborative relationships with key external and internal stakeholders.

    + Manage feedstock batch processing and system maintenance within the Renewable Feedstock Tracker system.

    + Provide quality assurance of the data entered into the Renewable Feedstock Tracker system.

    + Anticipated travel up to 10%

    Education and Experience:

    + A Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or other related field is required.

    + 2-4 years of experience in Renewables or Oil & Gas industry preferably in operations or compliance required.

    + Prior experience and knowledge of existing Renewable programs is preferred.
