We are seeking a Per Diem Optometrist for our growing organization!

In this role, you will diagnose, manage, and treat conditions and diseases of the human eye and visual system. Examine eyes and visual system, diagnose problems or impairments, prescribe corrective lenses, and provide treatment. May prescribe therapeutic drugs to treat specific eye conditions.

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program. Active state optometry license. Minimum 2 years of optometrist experience required. Applied understanding of general principles of optometry and best practices for the diagnosis and treatment of eye-related disorders and conditions. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to convey courtesy and empathy for subjects/patients of diverse backgrounds. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related application software. Ability to build knowledge of FDA regulations and GCP/ICH guidelines as they apply to the conduct of clinical research. Ability to read, understand, and build knowledge of study instructions, protocols, and procedures, as they apply to the conduct of clinical research. This is a per diem position is based primarily in our Fair Lawn, NJ office and includes a pay rate of $65/hour and paid sick leave.
