    Job Overview

    **Riley Crossing** is one of our newest senior living/child care communities located in Chanhassen, MN, near Hwy 101 and County Road 212. It hosts 134 units of Independent/Assisted Living, Enhanced, and Memory Care in total. This location offers a on-site intergenerational childcare center which includes interactive programming with our senior residents. Chanhassen was named one of the best small towns in the U.S. by Money Magazine, and Riley Crossing has won local awards for the best retirement community.

     

    We are looking for a Child Care Teacher Aide! This position includes;

     

    + 25 hours per two weeks

    + Monday- Friday ; 3:00pm - 5:30pm

    Responsibilities:

    + Implementing developmentally age appropriate curriculum

    + Maintaining a child friendly and orderly classroom

    + Implementing effective guidance and support strategies

    + Coordinate and contribute to the teaching team

    + Supervises health, safety, and overall, wellbeing of children at all times

    + Participates in program areas such as intergeneration activities

    Preferred:

    + High School diploma or equivalent

    + Experience working with children and knowledge of early childhood development
