About the Job You’re Considering

You will be responsible for conducting and evaluating a comprehensive energy utilization audit. This includes data collection, analysis, actionable recommendations, and full reporting. You’ll collaborate closely with the BMS / Energy Savings Command Center team to develop and execute energy efficiency strategies and O&M (Operations & Maintenance) plans.

Your Role

+ **Performs Thorough Audits** Conduct detailed examinations of energy systems and equipment. Assess energy usage patterns and identify areas for improvement.

+ **Data Collection & Analysis** Gather and analyze data on energy consumption, equipment performance, and building characteristics using tools such as energy meters, software platforms, and on-site inspections.

+ **Identify Opportunities** Discover opportunities for energy savings across all building systems and operations.

+ **Prepare Reports** Deliver comprehensive reports detailing audit findings, including energy usage analysis, prioritized efficiency recommendations, cost estimates, potential savings, tax credit and rebate opportunities, and payback analysis.

+ **Regulatory Compliance** Ensure energy audits comply with applicable regulations and standards, including those from government agencies and industry bodies.

+ **Project Management** Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to implement energy efficiency measures, managing projects from audit through to completion.

+ **Customer Interaction** Engage with clients to ensure complete data collection and full inspection of all building areas.

+ **Measurement & Verification (M&V)** Apply EVO-certified M&V protocols to ensure accurate analysis of energy efficiency implementations.

+ **BMS Implementation** Guide the implementation of Building Management Systems (BMS), ensuring accurate data capture and optimal parameter settings for efficiency.

+ **Collaboration with BMS Team** Work closely with the Energy Savings Command Center team to coordinate and share data for continuous improvement.

+ **O&M Plan Development** Create and maintain an Operations & Maintenance plan for ongoing monitoring, control, and maintenance of energy systems.

+ **Automation & Innovation** Collaborate with the team to develop tools and programs that automate energy audits, data analysis, and reporting.

+ **Team Building & Training** Mentor and support team members to expand energy savings and Energy Command Center (ECC) offerings for Capgemini clients.

+ **Incentive Documentation** Provide documentation to support applications for energy efficiency tax credits and funding at federal, state, and local levels.

Your Skills and Experience

+ EVO M&V expertise – CMVP certification recommended

+ Additional certifications such as CEM, CEA, BPI, LEED AP are a plus

+ ASHRAE certifications like BEAP, BEMP, OPMP are desirable

+ Familiarity with ISO 50001, ISO 50002, ISO 50003

+ Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus (please specify licensed states and willingness to expand)

+ Strong capabilities in:

+ Building Management Automation (BMA) – including monitoring, controls, and parameter optimization
