    Mary Greeley Medical Center (MGMC) is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Quality, Accreditation, and Compliance to lead our organization-wide efforts in quality, safety, regulatory compliance & accreditation, and patient experience. This is a high-impact leadership role that ensures MGMC continues to deliver exceptional care while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and clinical excellence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead quality and safety strategies aligned with national benchmarks.

    + Oversee root cause analyses, safety event reviews, and action planning for Quality related events.

    + Direct patient experience programs and service recovery efforts.

    + Ensure continuous readiness for DNV, CMS, and other regulatory surveys.

    + Oversee infection prevention programs and outbreak response.

    + Collaborate with legal and risk teams on high-risk events and investigations.

    + Act as primary liaison between Mary Greeley and healthcare regulatory agencies, accreditation bodies, and external auditors.

    + Build and lead a high-performing team across quality-related functions.

    About the Role:

    The Director will ensure that Mary Greeley Medical Center maintains the highest standards of patient safety, clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and service recovery. The role requires exceptional emotional intelligence, discretion, and the ability to navigate complex, high-stakes situations involving patients, families, providers, regulatory bodies and legal counsel. In partnership with organizational leaders and underpinned by the Baldrige Performance Excellence Framework and Magnet standards, this role fosters a culture of continuous improvement, systems thinking, and transparency.

     

    Required Education, Licensure, Certification, Experience

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

    + Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership in quality, compliance, or patient safety.

    + Strong knowledge of DNV, CMS, HIPAA, EMTALA, and other regulatory standards.

     

    Preferred Education, Licensure, Certification, Experience

     

    + Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related discipline.

    + Certification in healthcare quality (e.g., CPHQ), patient safety (e.g., CPPS), or compliance (e.g., CHC).

    + Experience managing high-risk events and regulatory investigations in a hospital setting.
