Travel Analyst

What You'll Do:

As a business analytics consult ant on our team, you'll:

+ Advise on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools such as SAP Concur.

+ Administer quantitative and qualitative modeling techniques to data through business information exchanges.

+ Apply analytical best practices for data collection, aggregation, normalization, and analysis.

+ Analyze and process data while contributing to the development of models and report templates and developing dynamic, data-driven solutions.

+ Recommend and implement appropriate performance measures to be produced, including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics.

+ Provide guidance to fellow team members.

+ Provide business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from data processing and data analysis for the DoD.

You Have:

+ 3+ years of experience with Micro sof t Office 365 programs, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote

+ 2+ years of experience with federal government-funded travel management reviewing or auditing costs for compliance

+ Experience with government contract ing and procurement processes

+ Knowledge of SAP Concur, managing end-to-end travel processes, and DoD travel regulations and policies such as JTR, FTR, FAR, and DSSR, ensuring all members are compliant with regulations set forth in the task order

+ Ability to work independently, taking initiative as needed with auditing and understanding travel allowances, exceptions, and compliance

+ Ability to analyze travel data to ensure compliance to regulations, guide travelers in the correct process, generate reports or Excel spreadsheets, and provide responsive support and guidance to travelers in processing travel documents

+ Ability to provide overall management and timely action on processing travel and other direct cost ( ODC ) expense reports in SAP Concur through a rapid response team

+ Ability to serve as a backup to travel analysts to support the processing of travel authorizations and trip reports in the DCAA-approved accounting system

+ Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
