Data Scientist, Mid

The Opportunity:

We have an opportunity for you to use your leadership and analytical skills to improve our client's mission. You'll work closely with your customer to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environment to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You'll mentor teammates, develop algorithms, write scripts, build predictive analytics, use automation, apply machine learning, and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn that set of disparate data points into objective answers to help the DoD make informed decisions. You'll provide your customer with a deep understanding of their data, what it all means, and how they can use it. Join us as we use data science for good.

You Have:

+ 3+ years of experience using Python

+ Experience creating ETL pipelines, including querying APIs, cleaning and c ond itioning data, and creating schemas for data storage

+ Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning methods

+ Ability to design and develop automated analytic sof tware, techniques, and algorithms

+ Ability to develop solutions and integrate and extend free and open-source sof tware ( FOSS ) or COTS products

+ Ability to generate data visualizations with Tableau, Power BI, or ArcGIS

+ TS / SCI clearance

+ Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

+ Experience working with GEOINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, and SIGINT, and the data and tools asso cia ted with these disciplines

+ Experience with intelligence or operations analysis in the DoD or Intelligence Community

+ Knowledge of DevOps, including CI / CD pipelines and Jenkins

+ TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
