Nordstrom is looking for a versatile Program Manager 1 to oversee the planning, execution and delivery of key User Acceptance Testing ( UAT ) processes for Nordstrom Card Services initiatives. This individual is an advocate for business users and end customers, determining the suitability of new or changed functionality and/or processes to meet the business and customers’ needs prior to implementation. Program Manager 1 may assist with incident management in partnership with multiple teams as required .
Position is Hybrid, located in Seattle , WA area.
Key Responsibilities
+ Responsible for the documentation and execution of end-to-end UAT across all platforms for Nordstrom Card Services initiated large, complex, cross-functional/divisional projects .
+ Partner with project team s , technology/development teams and business stakeholders/SMEs to understand the project requirements, acceptance criteria, identify UAT scenarios & test cases, maintain traceability to business requirements and document results to ensure that the user experience meets the business requirements as expected and confirm business objectives are met .
+ Collaborate ef fectively with Bank partners and cross - functional partners across the organization , such as Platform configuration teams, Vendors, Marketing, Analytics, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Product Management , to define and align on business, tech, risk, and operational requirement s while meeting key milestones and timelines.
+ Drive timely defect/issue resolution by i dentify ing contingency plans where needed to mitigate any risks .
+ Assist in incident management which may include incident tracking, research, root cause analysis and remediation.
+ Partner with Project Managers and technology/development teams to integrate UAT process and standards into project life cycle (agile and waterfall methodologies), status updates and communication process .
+ Contribute to the analysis of project results by sharing key operational data and learnings .
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience with 4+ years of experience in user acceptance testing, incident management , project management, process management, continuous improvement or related discipline .
+ Strong leadership and collaborative skills, especially as a liaison between business and technology teams .
+ Strong strategic and analytical thinker with exceptional execution and problem-solving capabilities .
+ Must demonstrate sound decision-making and ability to react quickly under pressure .
+ Ability to manage ambiguity by creating structure, process, and participate in prioritization .
+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization and detail oriented with strong ability to prepare presentations, lead meetings and drive to productive outcomes .
+ Ability to think end-to-end and position complex business solutions with consideration for impact on all relevant business functions .
+ Demonstrated experience in project management leading large testing programs including test strategy / plan development , test cases, requirements traceability, developing test schedules and resourcing testing teams with proven history of delivering high quality work under tight timelines .
+ Foster culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for process enhancement and implement best practices .
+ Experience in credit related products, banking and/or financial services .

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
$80,000.00 - $132,000.00 Annual
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
