    As a Full-Time Route Relief Driver at Viking Coca-Cola, you'll embark on an exhilarating journey every day! Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to adhere to DOT regulations, ensuring safety is always a priority. Before you hit the road, you'll verify inventory through our streamlined check-out process, setting you up for success.

     

    As you drive to various customer locations, your friendly demeanor will shine as you unload products and merchandise them according to established standards. You'll engage with customers, collect payments, and handle returns, all while maintaining a professional atmosphere. Utilizing handheld devices for invoicing and ensuring the cleanliness of your vehicle will be part of your daily routine.

    Requirements for this Route Relief Driver job

    To excel as a Full-Time Route Relief Driver at Viking Coca-Cola, you'll need a blend of essential skills and qualifications. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with a valid Class A Driver's License . Mastery of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques is crucial to ensure safe and responsible operation of the vehicle. Strong written and organizational skills will enable you to complete paperwork clearly and accurately, while excellent communication abilities will help you build rapport with customers and coworkers alike. Additionally, a solid grasp of basic math skills is necessary for precise invoicing and financial transactions.

    Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

    + Requires a valid Commercial Driver's License

    + Satisfactory completion of Motor Vehicle Check required according to the Vehicle Safety Policy.

    + Must have a thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving.

    + Requires written and organization skills to complete paperwork in a decipherable manner.

    + Requires strong communication skills.

    + Requires basic math skills for invoicing.
