Cherokee Town & Country Club is looking for a Full-Time Executive Assistant with experience in the hospitality industry in the Atlanta, GA area to join our team! The Executive Assistant serves the COO/GM of Cherokee Town & Country Club by maintaining a professional presence and creating a structured, organized and adaptable work environment. The Executive Assistant will also support the Governing Board as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
You are responsible for providing executive support to the COO/GM in a close one-on-one working relationship. Your ability to multitask allows you to maintain the COO/GM, Board, and club calendars with ease. You draft and respond to correspondences, including telephone calls and emails to the COO/GM and handles in person walk-ins as a gatekeeper. You effectively organize the COO/GM's files, including working files and Governing Board files. You play a large role in coordinating meetings and activities for the Governing Board, Strategic Planning Committee, Employee Scholarship Committee, Senior Leadership Committee, and others as needed - from taking minutes to preparing reports and distributing meeting materials and setting agendas. You are a part of the Senior Leadership team and will organize Senior Leadership Committee activities and outings. The Board will rely on you to coordinate functions and out-of-town retreats, which will require some travel. You will book travel for the COO/GM and submit all related expenses on his behalf and handle all his reimbursements.
In this role your ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment is key. You will embody the organization's culture through professionalism, adaptability and perform well under pressure. As the Executive Assistant, you will present a polished, charismatic, and confident presence and communicate with multiple levels of employees and members. You will be a natural go-to person – dependable, resourceful and solution oriented, and should be comfortable navigating ambiguity and working in the grey, while maintaining structure in goals and execution. You need to have a strong sense of character, integrity and accountability in both independent and team settings. This role requires the ability to demonstrate the ability work cyclically, maintaining a high performance through recurring workflows, seasonal peaks and fluctuating demands.
EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
+ Bachelor's degree preferred.
+ 7 years' experience as an Executive Assistant.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
+ High level of integrity and discretion
+ Must possess excellent communication skills, including ability to draft correspondence and meeting minutes.
+ Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work unsupervised, handle and prioritize many projects at one time.
WORK SCHEDULE:
+ Monday- Friday (9:00a – 5:30p) with fluctuations as necessary.
+ Occasional weekends and evenings as needed.
