    Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando. Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America. AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country. We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year

    Job Summary:

    The **Senior Manager of Community** Benefit, working directly with the Director for Community Health, Strategy and Innovation is responsible for managing the Central Florida Division South Community benefit team and all aspects of the creation and execution of the tri-annual Central Florida Division South Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), Community Health Plan as well as the strategy, management, and operations of the Community Collaborative Council (3c). This includes driving data-informed initiatives centered on the needs of the communities we serve; building an infrastructure for communicating, tracking, and enhancing community benefit efforts; engaging internal and external stakeholders to amplify measurable community impact and driving corporate citizenship strategies. And engaging with community partners, stakeholders, and the Community Engagement team in order to deploy resources and initiate programs that benefit the community and address community health needs per the assessment. Designing and implementing the Community Health Plans is a key component of this role.

    You Will Be Responsible For:

    + Demonstrate ability to articulate complicated community health issues.

    + Maintain and grow knowledge of community needs, prevalent health conditions, social determinants of health, strategic planning.

    + Initiates and leads the development and execution of data-informed initiatives to enhance and improve the health of targeted populations as identified in the CHNA and other sources.

    + Provide program leadership to address the social determinants of health through community benefit work efforts, setting priorities and aligning programs to amplify health outcomes.

    + Associates' population health improvement with community benefit by identifying best practices to improve quality of life and reduce health disparities in the community.

    + Leverages and supports community benefit expenditures and implementation strategies to align with the organization's strategic priorities.

    + Provides oversight to creation and deployment of the system's annual community benefit report, as well as division and regional breakdowns.

    + Collaborating with the Community Engagement Director, develop the skills of community benefit team members to forge alliances, analyze community assets and foster collaborative relationships with key community stakeholders, community-based organizations, businesses and government partners

    + Prioritizes ongoing authentic and culturally competent community engagement and advocacy.

    + Develop systems and readily share evidence-based best practices and innovations to address identified community health needs to community benefit teams across the system.

    Qualifications

    What Will You Need:

    Education and Experience Required:

    + **Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business administration, public relations, or related field**

    + **5-years of experience with a full range of business functions and systems, including strategic development and planning, budgeting, business analysis, finance, information systems, human resources, and marketing**

    + **2-years Leadership Experience**

    + Prior experience working with both internal and external executive level teams, community leaders, and political representatives

    + General management experience with a thorough understanding of finance, systems, IT, marketing, and HR

    + Proven track record of exceeding goals and a bottom-line orientation

    + Experience working with healthcare and/or non-profit industry leaders

    + Experience collaborating with community and government leaders
