Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an **Food Services Manager** **2** for **Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham** **,** located in **Neeham, MA.** The manager will oversee a team serving patient meals, and supporting cafeteria retail. In this role you will be a part of the Sodexo management team, reporting to the Food GM. The schedule for this role is primarily Monday-Friday, with managers sharing a weekend rotation: approximately every 4 th weekend.

What You'll Do

+ manage all daily food operations through hourly and supervisory frontline associates

+ maintain food and health & safety logs within Sodexo and hospital guidelines and requirements

+ ensure trainings remain up to date for all hourly associates, for both Sodexo and hospital related trainings

+ effectively mentor and develop the food services team

+ implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering and patient services

+ cultivate effective interpersonal relationships with patients, customers, and clients in hospital

What You Bring

+ a strong production culinary background, ideally in an up-scale restaurant/retail/catering environment;

+ experience leading and engaging a culinary and/or food services team

+ Servsafe certified as well as working knowledge of HACCP and experience with Health and Safety audits

+ familiarity with Sodexo processes and systems (preferred, not required)
