    ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a **Utility engineer** . The Utility person provides assistance with various maintenance projects including operating, maintaining, and inspecting facility equipment in accordance with written, posted and industry standards. Performs regular inspections and reports findings with recommendations to management.

     

    Pay Range is: $45.00** **/HR (http://69.0.0.52/HR)

     

    The pay listed is the salary range for this position. An offer will vary based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

    Schedule – Tuesday thru Saturday

     

    Tuesday & Wednesday – 9am to 530pm

     

    Thursday – 12pm to 9pm

     

    Friday – 9am to 530 pm

     

    Saturday 930 am to 6pm.

    Basic Qualifications:

    1-3 plus years of engineering experience

     

    Engineering skill sets which can be applied to a range of systems, maintenance programs and engines

     

    For service engineering positions, these same technical skills are applied towards operational issues versus project specific work

     

    Ability to analyze complex technical issues, detailed level of project management for regulatory compliance modifications Excellent verbal and technical writing skills needed

     

    Outstanding customer service skills

    Responsibilities:

    Repair and maintenance of restroom and breakroom plumbing fixtures.

     

    Clearing drains by means of plunger and hand-held auger.

     

    General labor, such as carrying, stacking, organizing materials used in and around the job site.

     

    Debris and trash removal are not part of janitorial contract or scope of work.

     

    Repairs and cleaning of HVAC registers, radiators return grills.

     

    Minor repairs of furniture.

     

    Maintaining and/or replacing door hardware.

     

    Repair or replacement of Herculite doors and hardware must be performed by competent vendor or third party.

     

    Repair / replacement of venetian blinds.

     

    Maintenance painting in mechanical and electrical rooms.

     

    Touch up painting in building common areas.

     

    Touch up painting in tenant spaces when authorized by property management.

     

    General cleaning in mechanical spaces.

     

    General cleaning of exterior entry spaces using vacuum, mop, broom, steam cleaner / high pressure sprayer, and other types of cleaning devices or equipment.

     

    Cleaning and painting of non-operating mechanical equipment which has been shut down, locked out and tagged by a Journeyman Engineer in accordance with ABM Lockout / Tagout Program.

     

    Miscellaneous handyman work requiring the limited use of hand tools.

     

    Cleaning roof drains, air vents, registers and radiators.

     

    Replacing lamps and cleaning light fixtures.

     

    Note: Maintenance attendant must receive required training and be listed as an Authorized Employee per ABM’s written electrical Safety Program.

     

    Maintenance attendant must be audited for this specific task by a qualified individual, when initially assigned and annually after that.

     

    Replacing ceiling tiles.

     

    Floor tile replacement.

     

    Replacing air filters.

     

    Note: If air filter replacement requires de-energizing of the equipment or system, it

     

    must be shut down, locked out and tagged by a qualified person and in accordance with ABM Lockout / Tagout Program and policies.

     

    Cleaning of engineering shop areas.

     

    Replacing fire extinguishers.

     

    Hanging framed objects not requiring the use of power tools other than cordless drill/drivers.
