Description

What you will be doing as a Tool Room Attendant:

In this role, you can expect to take ownership of shop tools and equipment, ensuring everything runs smoothly under the guidance of the Department Manager\. You'll play a key part in maintaining operational efficiency while following established policies and procedures\. If you're hands\-on, detail\-oriented, and ready to support a dynamic team at one of our outlying service facility, we encourage you to apply\.

Your responsibilities may include \(but are not limited to\):

* **Tool Management:** Secure, monitor, and maintain shop tools ensuring they are within calibration dates

* **Inventory Control:** Maintain, replenish, and order shop hardware and supplies, and manage non\-inventory purchase orders

* **Vendor Coordination:** Route tools and equipment requiring outside services to proper vendors

* **Regulatory Compliance:** Maintain file of Material Safety Data Sheets and ensure chemicals/solvents/adhesives are within shelf life

* **Facility Support:** Assist with building maintenance duties and stock shelves

* **Billing and Documentation:** Handle billing of salable supplies and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

What you need to be successful:

* A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is required

* English proficiency required

* Knowledge in the below areas is required:

* Aircraft maintenance tools systemoAircraft products/parts supplier system, identification, and classification with AN, MS hardware is needed

* Shipping procedures

* Valid driver's license and ability to obtain and maintain an airport badge is needed

* Experience with SAP and Lawson is helpful

* Hazardous waste management helpful

* Inventory skills for maintaining shelf\-life currency is helpful

Textron’s compensation package includes competitive base pay and provides eligible employees with benefit programs\. The pay range should be used as a general guide only\. Compensation is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations\.

In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is

26\.57 \- 43\.71 per hour\.
