    Apply Now

As we create a colorful, capable and cleaner world through chemistry, we invite you to join our team to harness the power of chemistry to shape markets, redefine industries and improve lives for billions of people around the world.

CREATING ESSENTIAL CHEMISTRY THAT THE WORLD NEEDS

At Chemours, our people are redefining how the world thinks of chemistry by approaching everything we do with a commitment to delivering Trusted Chemistry that creates better lives and helps communities thrive. That begins with how we use our science, data, and unmatched technical expertise to develop market-leading products with the highest levels of performance, sustainability, and safety in the industry.

Powered by chemistry, our products are used in applications that make the products we rely on, processes, and new technologies possible. In key sectors such as clean energy, advanced electronics, high-performance computing and AI, climate friendly cooling, and high-quality paints and coatings for homes and industrial infrastructure---sustainable solutions and more modern living depend on Chemours chemistry.

Chemours is seeking a Global Product Manager to join our growing Thermal & Specialized Solutions team. This position will be available at the Wilmington (Hybrid) and report directly to the Senior Director, Global Product Management.

As a Global Product Manager you will own the end-to-end global strategy and execution roadmap for Chemours’ venture-stage liquid-cooling portfolio (e.g., Opteon™ 2P50, direct to chip solutions, and future variants) targeting AI / high-performance-computing data centers. The role blends classic Global Product Management (GPM) accountability — ensuring the health of the product line today and in the future — with the agility required to scale two-phase direct-to-chip (2PDTC) and two-phase immersion-cooling (2PIC) programs into full commercial businesses.

Venture Portfolio and Product Management Leadership

+ Drive the integrated global product-line strategy (asset, technology, brand) to deliver volume, margin, and growth KPIs.

+ Craft and refresh the five-year asset, net-working-capital, and CAPEX plan, balancing pilot demand with hyperscale ramps and reconciling trade-offs with product-line cash goals.

+ Design and execute asset-build and supply-chain-partner negotiation strategies.

    Cost & Quality Management

+ Benchmark competitive cost positions and lead variable-cost-productivity initiatives; set COGS/COM and quality targets that protect margin as the business scales.

+ Establish and monitor operating-rate, yield, and reclaim targets to underpin circularity claims.

    Commercial Pricing Strategy

+ Own global pricing architecture and margin governance; build value-based models versus both in-kind and alternative solutions, optimizing $/kW removed and $/t-CO₂-eq avoided.

+ Provide margin and profitability input to enable negotiation of supply MOUs, joint-development programs, and long-term agreements with OEMs, contract manufacturers, down-packers, and reclaimers.

+ Provide quarterly competitive-landscape and price/mix updates to leadership.

Demand / Supply & SKU Optimization

+ Maintain a global demand–supply balance, scenario-planning for hyperscaler ramps, retrofit timelines, and regional regulations.

+ Drive SKU simplification and portfolio lifecycle decisions (launch, phase-gate, retire) to maximize asset leverage and working-capital turns.

    Go-to-Market Execution

+ Build application notes, reference designs, and qualification protocols for 2PDTC and 2PIC systems in partnership with the technology team.

+ Support launch campaigns, proof-of-concept pilots, and early-access programs with tier-one cloud and AI data-center customers.

+ Develop and evaluate business model options (e.g., licensing, direct sales, partnerships, or platform-as-a-service) in collaboration with Marketing/Venture Leaders to align with customer needs and market dynamics.

    Cross-Functional Orchestration

+ Coordinate, enable, and drive alignment across a virtual, global cross-functional team—including R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, regulatory, EH&S, and marketing—to achieve cost, quality, and timeline objectives, and deliver a seamless, customer-centric experience.

    Regulatory & Sustainability Stewardship

+ Monitor emerging data-center energy codes and PFAS/GWP regulations; ensure future-proof chemistry selections and Life-Cycle-Assessment advantage.

+ Coordinate with Policy, Regulatory & Stewardship to stay two steps ahead of legislative changes.

    Market Intelligence & M&A Scan

+ Keep a live heat-map of competing fluids (fluorinated, dielectric hydrocarbon, engineered-water) and adjacent thermal-management solutions; recommend build / partner / buy moves to close capability gaps.

The following is** **_required_** **for this role:

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; MBA a plus.

+ 6 + years in global product or venture management within the chemicals or advanced-materials sector.

+ Demonstrated success taking products from lab/concept to market — ideally within datacenter or semiconductor ecosystems.

+ Strong financial acumen (NPV, IRR, variable margin) and stage-gate commercialization expertise.

+ Proven ability to influence across cultures and seniority levels, from boardroom to bench.

The following is** **_preferred_** **for this role:

+ Hands-on experience with two-phase cooling, dielectric fluids, or server-cooling hardware.

+ Familiarity with data-center KPIs (PUE, WUE, rack-density) and AI-accelerator thermal envelopes.

+ Track record navigating low-GWP and PFAS regulations across the US, EU, and APAC.
