    Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a FAB - machine Operator - 2nd Shift at our Arden, NC location!

     

    Shift Hours: 3:30pm – 2am. Friday - Sunday. This role offers a 40 hour pay for a 36 hour work week.

     

    The hourly rate for this position is $21 per hour.

    What you’ll do:

    The Fabrication Operator is responsible to process and bend raw material through the Fabrication Department. Performing initial set-up for machine

     

    operation.

    In this function you will:

    • Operate equipment/machinery to produce parts

    • Interpret work orders including; written, oral, Kanban cards, and drawings

    • Maintain necessary tools and materials for continuous operation

    • Inspect final component against work specifications

    • Perform necessary operator maintenance on machining and fabrication equipment

    • Provide on-the-job training for new operators

    • Perform TPM and 5S+ responsibilities daily

    Qualifications:

    Required (Basic) Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution

    • No relocation is being offered for this role.  All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Arden, NC facility. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Machining Certificate

    • Previous experience in Fabrication

    • DMM experience

    Skills:

    • Able to lift 35 pounds – waist, shoulder, overhead.

    • Able to read calipers, protractors and tape measures.

    • Able to read blue prints.

    • Proven history of safe work habits and good attendance.
