Job Summary and Qualifications

The Nursing Manager will be responsible for the clinical and financial outcomes of designated clinical unit/units. Acts as a representative of the Director of Nursing and Administration. Collaborates with Director of Nursing and Clinical Nurse Coordinators to ensure competent, cost effective patient care.

+ You will manage the unit/units operations.

+ You will manage the unit/units personnel activities.

+ You will coordinate inter and intra departmental activities of the unit/units.

+ You will work shifts that are flexible covering evening/nights in order to support the needs of your nursing staff

What qualifications you will need:

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date

+ Basic Cardiac Life Support

+ NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date

+ Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date

+ Registered Nurse

+ Bachelors Degree

+ Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, or PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
