    Job Description

    Required Education:

    Ph.D. in Biochemistry

    Preferred Experience:

    Prior experience with AlphaFold and other machine learning approaches are required.

    Required skills, knowledge or abilities:

    Strong verbal and written communication skills.

     

    Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

    Preferred skills, knowledge or abilities:

    Proficient in molecular cloning, constructing genetic knockouts in yeast and mammalian cell lines, and protein purification.

     

    Job Responsibilities:35%: Computational algorithm development and data analysis35%: Design and conduct experiments with yeast and mammalian cell lines

     

    15%: Assistance with grant writing and manuscript writing10%: Training Gohil lab students in computational and experimental methodologies 5%: Performs other duties as assigned

     

    Position contingent on grant funding
