Sr. Quality Technician

Salary Range: $22.00 - $24.00/hour

Hours: Monday - Friday 6 am - 2 pm

Essential Duties and Tasks:

+ Assist Quality Leader in maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety System (FSS) by being the liaison between quality and the operations team regarding processes ensuring the appropriate procedures are being followed

+ Work with Operations and Technical on customer feedback/complaints

+ Disposition non-conforming materials on the production lines to ensure adherence to the quality system

+ Manage lab instrument calibration system

+ Coordinate environmental testing

+ Perform on-floor internal audits

+ Assist in maintaining quality documentation including procedures and forms

+ Identify and report trends regarding quality issues to the Quality Leader

+ Back-up to Quality Leader in their absence

+ Performs other duties as needed by ProAmpac Management

Requirements:

+ High School Diploma or GED; Associate's Degree preferred

+ 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

+ Prior experience with SQF certification preferred

+ Prior experience utilizing testing equipment preferred

+ Prior experience utilizing /reading measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.)

+ Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

+ Keen attention to detail with good organization and communication skills

+ Physical demands: bending, carrying, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, and walking. Frequent keyboarding
