Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Midvale, Utah. This is a Contract-to-permanent opportunity, offering the chance to grow within the organization while contributing to key accounting functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and government regulations.

• Perform month-end and year-end closing tasks, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations.

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to maintain smooth cash flow operations.

• Generate and manage financial reports and documentation related to invoices and transactions.

• Work closely with various departments to provide financial insights that inform strategic decisions.

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes by delivering precise financial data and analyses.

• Enhance accounting systems and workflows to improve efficiency and internal controls.

• Utilize software tools such as QuickBooks and eClinicalWorks to manage accounting tasks effectively. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a Staff Accountant role.

• Familiarity with the healthcare industry is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and/or eClinicalWorks is strongly preferred.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas and data analysis.

• Strong organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
