    Position Details

    + Job Type: Part-Time, Contract-to-Hire

    + Work Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (In-Office)

    + Location: West Side of Indianapolis

    Responsibilities

    As a Cash Applications Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of incoming payments.

    Key responsibilities include:

    + Posting payments and applying cash receipts to customer accounts.

    + Reconciling accounts to ensure discrepancies are minimized.

    + Investigating and resolving payment application issues in collaboration with internal teams.

    + Generating regular reports and maintaining detailed records of account receivable transactions.

    + Communicating with customers and stakeholders to address inquiries related to payment applications.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + Previous experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or a related financial/accounting role.

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

    + Excellent written and oral communication skills.

    + Ability to work independently while ensuring accuracy in data entry and analysis.
