Description We are looking for an Aviation A& P Licensed QC Inspector to join a manufacturing team in Wood Dale, Illinois. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality standards in aircraft engine and component inspection while ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft engines, components, and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and managers to develop and execute metrics for the Quality and Inspection department.

• Process incoming and outgoing materials to align with the organization's Quality Management System and customer specifications.

• Verify traceability of inspected products to prevent counterfeit or unapproved parts from entering inventory.

• Apply knowledge of product certifications and airworthiness standards for the inspection and return-to-service processes.

• Perform document reviews, visual inspections, and checks on packaging, shelf-life, and life-limited records.

• Analyze technical and regulatory data such as Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and Maintenance Manuals.

• Operate calibrated measurement and testing equipment, including digital micrometers, pin gauges, and digital height gauges.

• Ensure all work meets instructions outlined in Purchase Orders, Repair Orders, customer requirements, and industry standards.

• Complete additional duties as assigned to support quality assurance operations. Requirements

• Associate's degree, technical school certification, or equivalent combination of education and four years of related experience.

• MUST HAVE Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A& P) License.

• Proficiency in quality assurance practices, including manual testing and automated testing using tools such as Selenium.

• Strong understanding of aviation regulations and technical documentation.

• Experience with Quality Management Systems and metrics development.

• Ability to use calibrated measurement tools and interpret technical data.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
