    Robert Half is hiring a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) program in Louisville.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Prepare and maintain financial reports, journal entries, and account reconciliations

    + Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

    + Analyze general ledger accounts and perform variance analysis

    + Support audits and regulatory reporting as needed

    + Utilize Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) for data analysis and reporting

    + Collaborate with accounting teams to streamline workflows and maintain accuracy

    Requirements

    What You Bring to the Table:

    + Must reside in the Louisville, KY metro area (required)

    + 2+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar general accounting role

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUPs required)

    + Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger principles

    + Ability to adapt quickly, work independently, and meet deadlines across varied environments
