Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Poway, California. This is a Contract-to-permanent position within the manufacturing industry, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to key financial operations. The ideal candidate will excel in managing accounts receivable processes, invoicing, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth financial workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local sales tax rates.

• Perform month-end hard close procedures to finalize financial records.

• Calculate and apply sales tax based on varying rates across counties and cities.

• Handle cash receipts, collections, and accounts receivable aging reports.

• Input new vendor data and maintain accurate records in accounting systems.

• Collaborate closely with the customer service team to resolve discrepancies and improve client satisfaction.

• File and mail checks during check runs, ensuring timely distribution.

• Manage intercompany trading invoices and oversee transactions between business entities.

• Generate regular invoices for traded products and maintain detailed documentation.

• Perform minimal accounts payable tasks as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software systems such as SAP, Epic, or ERP tools.

• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, billing functions, and cash handling.

• Experience calculating and applying sales tax across varying jurisdictions.

• Knowledge of CRM systems and customer relationship management tools.

• Familiarity with intercompany trading and invoicing procedures.

• Ability to complete month-end hard close processes accurately and on time.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.

• Patient and friendly demeanor, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
