    Description

    Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team today!

     

    As a Staff Accountant, you'll perform general accounting tasks across cost, inventory, AP/AR, and GL functions—while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. SAP experience is a strong plus, but not required.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, inclusively accruals, prepaids, and inventory-related entries

    + Prepare and post journal entries for month-end and year-end closing

    + Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations (cash, AP, AR, inventory)

    + Analyze variances and support cost/inventory accounting for manufacturing operations

    + Assist in preparing financial statements and reporting packages

    + Support internal/external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, engineering, procurement) for accounting insight

    + Utilize SAP for transaction processing—GL entries, reconciliations, reporting

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

    + 2+ years of accounting experience—preferably in manufacturing or related sectors

    + Strong proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, data analysis)

    + Detail-oriented, analytical mindset with strong communication and organizational skills
