Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Orange Park, Florida. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to key financial processes, including reconciliations, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting principles and systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial activities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.

• Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

• Manage bank reconciliations to maintain integrity in cash flow reporting.

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately.

• Create and post journal entries as part of month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions for data analysis and reporting.

• Drive the month-end close process, ensuring all financial records are finalized timely and accurately.

• Work with accounting systems such as NetSuite and SAP to manage and report financial data.

• Apply IFRS accounting principles to ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards.

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial workflows and processes. Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.

• Proficiency in account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entry preparation.

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis tools.

• Familiarity with accounting systems such as NetSuite and SAP.

• Solid understanding of IFRS accounting standards and their application.

• Experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in all financial tasks.
