Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Los Altos, California. This role involves managing trust, individual, and corporate tax returns while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review trust, individual, and corporate tax returns with a high level of accuracy.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

• Analyze financial data to identify potential tax-saving opportunities.

• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and clarify tax-related questions.

• Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to provide expert guidance.

• Maintain detailed records of tax filings and associated documents.

• Assist in resolving tax-related issues and discrepancies.

• Provide recommendations for optimizing tax strategies based on individual and corporate needs.

• Communicate effectively with the owner and other stakeholders to deliver updates and insights. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation.

• Proven expertise in handling individual, trust, and corporate tax returns.

• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.

• Proficiency in tax preparation software and tools.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

• Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions.

• CPA certification or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
