• 26 Teacher Aide (ELL)

    The Hilton Central School District is accepting applications for a Teacher Aide. The selected candidate will support English Language Learners in classes and during study hall, under the direction of the ENL teachers. 3-4 hours per day, between 8:30am - 12:15pm Monday-Friday. Successful candidates will be flexible, supportive and willing to learn as they work with English Language Learners in one-to-one or small group work.

     

    Speaking another language is not required.

    Job Qualifications

    Desirable Attributes:

    *General familiarity of classroom procedures and the needs of children

    *Experience working with students with learning disabilities and special needs preferred

    *Civil Service requires one year of full-time or its part-time or volunteer equivalent experience working with children or in a clerical capacity
