THIS POSITION WILL BE OPEN TO ALL EMPLOYEES CURRENTLY SERVING AS A STATION SUPERVISOR LEVEL I
We’re seeking a detail‑oriented, cool‑under‑pressure professional to coordinate real‑time emergency communications across NYC Transit. Working in a fast‑paced, 24/7 environment, you’ll relay incidents to Police, FDNY, NYCT responders, district teams, and management-ensuring information is accurate, timely, and complete.
Responsibilities
+ Multi‑channel incident reporting
+ Use SixWire, email, and landline to deliver concise, real‑time alerts.
+ Provide prompt follow‑up updates to management until incident resolution.
+ Data & documentation
+ Maintain comprehensive logs and databases of all incidents.
+ Review, finalize, and file incident documentation in accordance with NYCT standards.
+ Operational coverage
+ Monitor and handle SixWire tasks, during lunch and comfort breaks to ensure 24/7 coverage.
+ Assist Superintendents in gathering and packaging incident information for other divisions, District Offices, and external stakeholders.
+ Other duties
+ Perform special assignments and related tasks as directed by management.
Compensation
Note: You will maintain your current rate of pay.
Eligibility
Station Supervisors with at least one (1) year in title.
Education and Experience
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools, Power Apps/BI, Teams, and EAM
+ Thorough understanding of NYC Transit rules, safety regulations, and operating procedures.

Selection Method
Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience and interview.
All appointments, with the exception of Department of Subways’ employees on MaBSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
