Hourly Rate: $21.26

Job Responsibilities:
1. Prepares participation forms, enters participation, and balances participation for new year services. 2. Ensures WinCap pricing agrees to service directory pricing prior to initiating participation. 3. Prepares AS-7 contracts for participation to school districts, non-components and BOCES. 4. Assists in preparing SBM-4 and SA-111 reports. 5. Generates, mails and files monthly and special billing to components, non components and other BOCES. Prepares other miscellaneous billing. 6. Prepares revenue reports for School District Treasurer and division directors. 7. Enters changes in participation for both component and non-component districts. 8. Assists in year-end cross contract, revenue, and budget balancing. 9. Reviews, reconciles and processes invoices from other BOCES, ensuring component districts are properly billed for cross contract services. 10. Processes and pays component and other BOCES for services and/or state aid and surplus. 11. Prepares budget amendments for cross contract services. 12. Process, pays and reconciles capital invoices. 13. Reconciles capital project expenses to capital budget and/or contract. 14. Responses to queries from customers, divisions and finance staff regarding participation, billing, and payments made. 15. Maintains participation and billing records for services provided to components, non-components and other BOCES. 16. Maintains files for accounting records. 17. Other duties may be assigned that are relevant to the civil service job description for this title.
Job Qualifications
Minimum Civil Service Qualifications:
Must hold permanent status as a Senior Account Clerk, or; Must be reachable on the current Senior Account Clerk civil service list, OR; Must meet minimum civil service qualifications for a provisional appointment as follows:
A) Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS registered two (2) year college or university with an Associates Degree in Accounting or Business and one (1) year experience in the maintaining of financial records; OR;
B) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and three (3) years experience in the compilation and maintenance of financial records; OR;
C) Seven (7) years experience in the compilation and maintenance of financial records; OR;
D) An equal combination of training and experience as defined by the limit of (A), (B) and (C).
