The Communication Electronics Maintenance Instructor - Mid will:
+ Provide instruction on the removal and installation of major components, including troubleshooting, isolating, and diagnosing malfunctions within Line Replaceable Units (LRUs);
+ Replace defective LRUs; identify and repair system and subsystem faults; and perform routine preventative maintenance activities.
+ Review course curricula, lesson plans, student guides, and audio-visual materials, offering recommendations for improvements to support instructional content and examinations.
+ During instruction, outline and execute necessary procedures to train Marines in the operation and maintenance of the ACV, including PMCS, inspection, repairs, and other tasks specified in technical manuals for ACV Family of Vehicles (FoV) communication suites and related systems.
+ Inspect equipment, perform preventive maintenance, support installations and operational checks, and assist with inventory management.
+ Service, adjust, and tune ground radio equipment
+ Inspect and classify vehicle intercom equipment
+ Test items per standards and documentation
+ Identify needed maintenance and estimate downtime
+ Confirm maintenance or repair quality via the Lending Element Manager

Required Skills
+ Must be physically and mentally capable of successfully completing the Marine Corps Water Survival Training Program (MCO 1500.52D), the Marine Corps Submerged Egress Training (SVET) and license and certification requirements of the specific Amphibious Combat Vehicle variant (i.e. Operator license, Maintainer certification, or Communicator certification of Communications suite on the ACV FoVs).
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent customer-facing and internal oral and written communications skills
+ Excellent MS Office skills to include, but not limited to MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project.
+ Experience working in a Marine Corps Systems Command Program Office or similar organization
+ Positive attitude and understanding of the Marine Corps mission.
+ Ability to function as part of an agile team when given broad dir ection.
Required Experience
+ Minimum, four years' experience training in a military period of instruction/program.
+ Demonstrated expertise in servicing, repairing, calibrating, regulating, and fine-tuning testing machines, devices, and equipment that function primarily on electrical or electronic principles rather than mechanical ones.
+ Experience with the provisioning of symmetric and asymmetric key products to support C4 and C2 systems support.
