Job Title: 2nd Shift Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent 2nd shift Assemblers. You will initially train on the first shift before transitioning to the second shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, with potential mandatory overtime extending to 12:30 PM. This role involves using hand and power tools to assemble assigned units, as well as utilizing computer screens to access job lists detailing units, parts, and tools needed.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble using hand and power tools.

+ Utilize computer screens to access job lists, detailing assembly requirements.

+ Ensure the highest hygiene standards are met in production lines.

+ Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to 5S standards.

+ Participate in training programs led by dedicated trainers.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in assembly using hand tools and power tools.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Mechanical assembly skills.

+ Quality assurance skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED required within one year of permanent conversion.

+ Physical capability to lift 50 lbs (40 lbs independently).

+ Ability to climb, stand, and operate equipment for extended periods.

+ Regularly walk, sit, and reach during shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henrico, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75/hr.
