Shop Laborer Required – Aerotek Is Hiring in Spokane Valley, WA
About the Role
Join a well-established stainless steel fabrication company specializing in custom tanks for fuel, food, water, and alcohol processing. As a Shop Laborer, you’ll be the utility player—handling everything from fabrication and welding to deliveries and general shop support. This is a hands-on role with room to grow into welding or machine operation.
Key Responsibilities
+ Pack and prep products for shipment
+ Load/unload trucks and operate forklifts & overhead cranes
+ Drive company truck/trailer for pickups and deliveries
+ Cut, drill, sand, and shear stainless steel sheets
+ Set up and operate welding equipment
+ Inspect and finish welds to meet quality standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
+ Fabrication experience and MIG welding skills (TIG is a plus)
+ Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for long hours
+ High school diploma or GED
Preferred Skills
+ Vocational welding or trade school
+ Familiarity with stainless steel grades and finishing tools
+ Experience with drill press, shear, band saw, and other shop equipment
+ Strong communication and teamwork skills
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
