    Hiring ASAP - Forklift Operator

    Job Description

We are seeking a skilled forklift operator to ensure the safe and efficient movement of products in a warehouse, storage yard, factory, or construction site.

    Responsibilities

    + Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.

    + Operate controls to drive vehicles and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.

    + Use levers and controls to operate lifting devices, such as forklifts and hoists, to load, unload, transport, and stack material.

    + Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and boxes, securing materials or products for transport to designated areas.

    Essential Skills

    + Verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

    + Basic knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control techniques for effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED preferred.

    + Forklift operators’ license required.

    + 0-2 years manufacturing experience.

    + Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

    + Steel toe boots required.

    Work Environment

     

    The position requires working on the 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with overtime expected. The role involves operating a forklift 90% of the time with some picking required, and requires wearing steel toe boots to ensure safety.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.82 - $19.82/hr.
