    About the Role & Team:

    The Well-being Sports Associate is responsible for supporting the overall Disney Experiences Well-being strategy and its objectives, including educating Cast Members regarding holistic well-being, promoting Disney's well-being resources and offerings, and staffing activities and events, as needed.

     

    This individual would need to meet the physical demands of outdoor work, oftentimes in very warm weather and on occasion in rain physically moving large A-Frame signage, moving and setting up tents as needed and carrying boxes and equipment oftentimes over 25lbs. This seasonal CT role will primarily take place during the evening hours typically 6-10p.m. On occasion, the Associate would also need to drive a pargo.

     

    This position will report to the Well-being Operations Manager

    What You Will Do:

    + Assist the Well-being team with monitoring on-site Cast sports programming including but not limited to: participant check-in, interaction with program officials, court/field monitoring, and sharing weather updates to participants

    + Positively engage with Cast participants and officials during programming

    + Communicate incidents as needed and report scores to program coordinators or managers.

    + Support Cast programming with an emphasis on Cast Sports and Fitness programs

    + Support Be Well Cast exclusive events (including Cast 5Ks, yoga in front of the Castle, family well-being events)

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Excellent oral and written communications skills

    + Ability to work independently and in a team environment

    + Ability to support numerous ongoing programs and events

    + Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

    + Knowledge of Microsoft Teams

    + Drivers License with reliable transportation

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 1+ years of experience in Sports / Event Management

    + Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction

    + Bi-lingual in Spanish or Haitian Creole

    Required Education:

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    Preferred Education:

    + Health education/promotion or related field

    + Bachelor's/Associate’s degree
