Ryder is immediately hiring permanent full-time Paller Repair Pre-Cleaner at our warehouse manufacturing facility in Amarillo, TX

Manufacturing and Construction positions pay weekly

+ Hourly Pay $17.00 per hour

+ Schedule: Second Shift Monday - Friday 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Requirements

+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred

+ 1 to 2 years or more in fast-paced Warehouse environment preferred

+ Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the maintenance trades

+ Must be able to lift and move up to 70 lbs

+ Able to stand and be on feet for up to 8 hours

+ Ability to follow direction and work independently

+ Operate power scrubbers and sweepers

+ Read and understand labels on chemicals

+ Demonstrate ability to solve routine problems

+ Ability to walk, climb, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, punch, pull, and do related physical activities in performing janitorial work

Responsibilities

+ Warehouse Maintenance and Sanitation

+ Clean warehouse with hand brooms, power scrubbers, sweepers, and vacuum cleaners to meet company standards

+ Remove all refuse from office and building daily, ensuring that trash cans are empty and clean

+ Clean break rooms and work area

+ Relocate and adjust office furniture as necessary

+ Ensure the highest degree of sanitation and housekeeping

+ Ensure that pest control systems are operating effectively

+ Grounds Maintenance

+ Mow grass on company property

+ Keep company grounds free of litter and debris

+ Safety, Sanitation, Security

+ Report any safety problems to the shift supervisor

+ Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards

+ Performs other duties as assigned
