Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN in the MARINE CORP LOGISTICS COMMAND G8 of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND. Responsibilities You will be responsible for account maintenance and accounting support work. You will be responsible for technical work in support of the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit and custody of cash items which includes handling cash items or use of cash accountability control methods. You will review to determine signature authentication, correct processing codes, and may include operation of cash registers. You will determine pay, payroll records maintenance and completion of reports pertaining to civilian employees of the Federal Government. You will be answering requests and providing advice to employees, supervisors, financial specialist and personnel specialist on pay related rules regulations, and procedures. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience in account maintenance and accounting support work to include technical work in the receipt, disbursement, examination deposit and custody of cash items which includes handling cash items or use of cash accountability control methods.
