Legal Secretary – $23-$27/hour
A professional legal office in Dubuque is seeking an experienced **Legal Secretary** to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in administration who enjoys working in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
+ Organize and maintain case files, legal documents, and client records
+ Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
+ Communicate with clients, court staff, and other legal professionals
+ Assist attorneys with case preparation and trial documentation
+ Perform general administrative and clerical support duties
Qualifications:
+ Prior experience in a legal secretary **or** similar administrative role is required
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document formatting
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a professional setting
+ Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
