Employment Type : Full-Time / Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
About the Role:
Novant Health is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to coordinate and assist healthcare providers in delivering safe, quality, and cost-effective care to our diverse patient population. This role emphasizes teamwork, community involvement, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion, ensuring that every patient receives remarkable care in every interaction.
• What You’ll be doing:
+ Rooming Patients
+ Assist providers during exams and procedures (EKG's)
+ Take vital signs, obtain medical histories
+ Prepare patients and exam rooms for treatment
+ Not Responsible for Labs
+ No In Basket
+ No Calls
What we’re looking for:
+ Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
+ Medical Assistant Program: Graduate from an accredited program including pharmacology and medication administration.
+ Certification: Current certification as CMA, RMA, or CCMA, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
+ Experience: Previous work in a Dermatology Office is preferred but not required.
+ Skills: Ability to successfully complete skills validation and competency testing.
+ Language: Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
