    Job Summary

    Weekend shifts: Saturday and Sunday

     

    Shift: 7:00am-4:00pm

     

    Novant Health is seeking an PRN Occupational Therapist to provide skilled occupational therapy services consistent with licensure as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.

     

    + Delivers care that is consistent with the occupational therapy practice act in the appropriate state and adheres to AOTA Code of Ethics.

    + Completes patient evaluations and treatments independently while maintaining patient safety.

    + Requires infrequent guidance/mentoring for complex or non-routine patients.

    + Appropriately seeks guidance and assistance when necessary.

    + Independently establishes / implements treatment goals and plans based on patient input and evaluation and assessment results.

    + Reassesses outcomes and modifies goals and plans to meet changing needs of the patient. Schedules patient activities according to patient individual needs.

    + Demonstrates technical competencies and job knowledge involving unusual or infrequent circumstances.

    + Appropriately delegates tasks to support personnel.

    Qualifications

    + Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Graduate from an accredited OT program, required.

    + Experience: Relevant experience, preferred.

    + Licensure/Certification: Appropriate state OT license, required.
