Job Summary
Schedule: Evening shift; full-time
Sign on Bonus: $100,000; relocation bonus available
Practice: At PMC, you will encounter a diverse case load in our inpatient operating rooms, including Neuro, Cardiovascular, Pediatrics, Vascular, and General Surgery, to name a few. We are a very dynamic and busy hospital. In addition to our 16 inpatient ORs, we also provide anesthesia services to 3 OB ORs, 4 Endoscopy suites, 2 Open Heart Rooms, and a wide variety of Out-of-OR Anesthesia including Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology and Cath Lab, MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Oncology, 12 more outpatient ORs specializing in peds endoscopy, dental, urology, and eye surgery as well as simple adult general outpatient procedures, eyes, and screening endoscopy.

Responsibilities
+ Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care to pediatrics through geriatric populations
+ Administer anesthetics for a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures
+ Monitor patients throughout anesthesia and recovery
+ Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical teams
+ Adjust anesthetic plans as needed based on changing patient status
+ Practice independently within full CRNA scope of privileges
+ Float between sites based on staffing needs and patient volume
Qualifications
+ Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, BSN required. Graduate from both an accredited School of Nursing and School of Nurse Anesthesia. Listed on the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and recognized by the state of practice as an Advanced Practitioner. Must have 40 hours of continuing education every two years to maintain CRNA certification.
+ Minimum of five years experience as a CRNA required.
+ Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Must have extensive knowledge of current anesthetic agents, techniques, drugs and equipment. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify the anesthetic care suitable to patient age. Must have considerable ability to make independent decisions, sometimes under stress, and to maintain a professional demeanor with patients, coworkers and physicians.
