    The Finance Team is looking for a Financial Analyst II. As part of a large, global Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, you will be responsible for managing revenues, topline bookings, and various close and forecast items for the Sabre Air GDS business unit. In this position, you will have the opportunity to interact with a broad and diverse group that includes Commercial Finance, IT, Regional FP&A Teams, and Accounting. This position will report to the Finance Manager for Central FP&A Air Revenue.

     

    The Sabre Air GDS generates over $1 Billion of Revenue annually. As Sabre’s largest business unit, we are a critical infrastructure to the Global Travel Network and have been for many decades.

    Role and Responsibilities

    + Finance partner to Commercial and Accounting teams within Sabre Travel Solutions

    + Monthly journal entries, contract/amendment analysis, and Close/Forecast Reporting

    + In-year forecast and multi-year planning

    + Ad hoc analysis as requested by stakeholders

    + Drive insights into revenue and topline metrics at Agency, Airline, and Regional levels

    + Support strategic projects

     

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    Must Have Skills:

    + Dynamic self-starter that is always looking to improve processes

    + Comfortable navigating ambiguity and analyzing complex datasets

    + Team player that wants exposure to cross-functional collaboration

    + Proficient with Microsoft Excel (formulas, managing large datasets)

    + Strong written and verbal communication, willingness to grow into an executive-facing role

    + Willing to work flexible hours on a global, cross-functional team

    + Candidate must be detail-oriented and accurate with good mathematical, analytical, and critical thinking skills

    + Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively & efficiently within given timelines

    + Ability to come into Southlake office 3 days a week

    Nice To Have Skills:

    + MBA

    + 2+ years of applicable FP&A experience

    + Air Travel, Technology or software sector experience (preferred)

    + Prior Experience with Oracle Essbase, Think-Cell, Business Objects, SAP

    + Internal reporting experience ie. ability to communicate data insights effectively in a corporate meeting environment
