Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Auditor to join our team in Salinas, California. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in public accounting, advanced tax expertise, and demonstrated leadership skills to manage and grow client relationships. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and review of complex and consolidated tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal regulations.

• Provide expert guidance on corporate income tax matters, including compliance and planning strategies.

• Lead and mentor a team of accounting staff, fostering their development through training and coaching.

• Manage client relationships by providing exceptional service and identifying opportunities for growth.

• Conduct thorough reviews of financial statements and ensure adherence to accounting standards.

• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, communicating their impact to clients and staff.

• Collaborate with high-technology and software clients to address industry-specific tax concerns.

• Support business development efforts by expanding the client base and promoting firm services.

• Utilize technical skills to address complex accounting and taxation challenges.

• Participate in continuing education and skill development to maintain expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Active CPA license is required or EA Certification

• At least 2 years of experience in public accounting

• Deep understanding of complex accounting principles and taxation regulations.

• Experience working with clients in the high-technology or software sectors.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
