    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team in Salinas, California. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and management of industrial equipment and refrigeration systems across multiple facilities. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in technical systems, team leadership, and regulatory compliance to support operational excellence.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the maintenance and operation of refrigeration systems across multiple facilities, ensuring optimal performance.

    • Develop, implement, and manage preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

    • Supervise the maintenance team, providing training, conducting performance evaluations, and ensuring adherence to company policies.

    • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations by preparing and submitting required reports.

    • Operate and maintain industrial refrigeration systems and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.

    • Manage and maintain a variety of machinery, including baggers, optical sorters, box erectors, welders, and conveyor systems.

    • Perform welding tasks and provide technical support to ensure all equipment operates at peak performance.

    • Create and maintain an inventory system for parts and tools to support maintenance activities.

    • Promote energy-efficient and sustainable practices by identifying opportunities for improvement.

    • Monitor maintenance budgets, control expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in maintenance management, including preventative maintenance planning and execution.

    • Strong understanding of refrigeration systems, including industrial-scale equipment.

    • Familiarity with electrical systems, including 480V and three-phase power.

    • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, with the ability to read and write effectively.

    • Skilled in troubleshooting and maintaining vacuum pumps, VFDs, and servo drives.

    • Experience interpreting technical schematics and operating specialized machinery.

    • Knowledge of safety protocols for electrical and mechanical systems.

    • Ability to train and supervise maintenance staff, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
