    The Director of Admissions (DOA) is responsible for assisting the Corporate Director of Admissions (CDOA) in supervising, monitoring, and analyzing the admissions team and individual performance trends and opportunities and will deliver individual and team feedback through performance coaching and training to ensure the Admissions Department is meeting strategic objectives. The DOA will manage activities for multiple campuses and or multiple regions.

     

    The DOA works closely with and supports the Marketing, Educational Funding, Education and Career Services departments to provide exceptional customer service to the student body. The DOA performs the duties of the Admissions Representative including, but not limited to enrollment procedures and conducts follow-up activity with applicants and new student enrollments. The DOA works with the highest integrity and ethics adhering to state, federal, and Porter and Chester Institute and YTI Career Institute policies, procedures and regulations.

     

    The candidate may sit at any one of the 3 Massachusetts campus locations.

    Main responsibilities:

    + Staffing and management of Admissions team

    + Daily leadership, training and development of Admissions team

    + Manage aspects of the daily and weekly Admissions processes such as performance monitoring, reporting and trend analysis.

    + Conduct quarterly and annual performance reviews for Admissions Coordinators

    + Plan and manage campus events, open houses, and community events.

    + Plan and execute quarterly and annual training sessions

    + Conduct weekly Accountability meetings to ensure future students have met enrollments requirements and are prepared to start school.

    + Manage a personal, start goal according to all Admissions guidelines.

    + Review Enrollment files for accuracy and compliance.

    + Accurately and compliantly communicate the campus features and program information to prospective students.

    + Generate personally developed inquires and referrals.

    + Conduct follow-up activities for future students to assure completion of paperwork and essential documents for enrollment requirements.

    + Be current with programs offered and product knowledge.

    + Maintain a solid knowledge of policies and procedures for the school.

    + Manage the High School and Adult Education initiative with their team.

    + Complete all reports and duties assigned in a timely manner as assigned by the Corporate Director of Admissions.

    Position requirements:

    + Associate degree and/or 3-5 years Admissions management related experience

    + 5 years sales or marketing experience in post-secondary education admissions required

    + Experience with common education inquiry and student database management systems required.

    + Experience and knowledge of higher education accreditation and compliance requirements is helpful.

    + Experience or aptitude for managing a diverse team in either in person or virtual environment helpful.

    + Strong leadership and organizational skills are required to train and develop team members

    + Strong Time Management, conflict and problem resolutions skills are required

    + Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills required

    + Responsible for management of multiple projects/processes simultaneously

    + Work effectively on a team and provide exceptional customer service to a diverse student population.

    + Ability to adapt to change and work in a demanding environment.

    + Must be able to manage well under pressure and comfortably handle stressful situations

    + Computer skills and the ability to use common software programs (Zoom, Teams, Word, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, etc.)
