    We are seeking a dedicated IV Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a closed-door pharmacy environment focused on home infusion services. This role offers room for growth and advancement and does not require patient-facing interactions.

    Responsibilities

    + Mix IV and other pharmaceutical preparations using proper sterile compounding techniques.

    + Adhere to all documented instructions, warnings, and procedures to ensure safe and effective drug preparation.

    + Perform environmental monitoring, sanitation, testing, and other activities as required by applicable federal and state pharmacy regulations and USP-797.

    + Maintain accurate drug inventory through purchasing, receiving, stocking, pulling, counting, and tracking drug items in accordance with established policies and procedures.

    + Enter home medication lists and lab results into CPR+ for patient profiles, when available.

    + Clean ante-room and clean room according to USP-797 standards.

    + Maintain clean room logs.

    + Verify lot numbers and perform periodic checks in inventory.

    + Assist with on-call responsibilities as needed.

    + Complete competency verification plans upon hire and annually thereafter.

    + Understand and maintain confidentiality of Company proprietary information and patient/client care information, complying with all federal and state laws regarding confidentiality of protected health information and electronic protected health information.

    Essential Skills

    + Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification

    + State registration as a pharmacy technician

    + VA License

    + IV Compounding

    + Sterile Compounding

    + Customer service

    + Data entry

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Pharmacy Technician certification preferred

    + Experience as a pharmacy technician preferred

    + Home infusion therapy experience preferred, but not required

    + Well-organized with the ability to set priorities and work independently

    + Effective team member

    + Articulate communication skills and ability to comprehend written and verbal communications

    + Efficient in a fast-paced work environment

    + Computer skills required

    Work Environment

    This position is based in a closed-door pharmacy with a focus on at-home infusion services. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotations for on-call weekends, mainly Saturdays. You will work alongside a team of 15 people.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
