    Job Title: Lead Machinist - 1st Shift

    Job Description

    As a Lead Machinist, you will utilize CNC machinery safely and accurately to perform various functions. This position requires high skill levels, attention to detail, and precision. You must comply with all safety guidelines while possessing a keen eye for detail and strong mechanical aptitude.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, turning, grinding, milling, etc.

    + Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading engineering drawings and other specifications.

    + Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.

    + Conduct a test run to ensure machines produce outputs according to specifications.

    + Monitor machines closely while they execute tasks, making adjustments as necessary to achieve better results.

    + Inspect and measure finished products, comparing them with requirements to ensure process completion.

    + Inspect and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.

    Essential Skills

    + Proven experience as a CNC operator.

    + Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling.

    + Proficiency in using precision measurement tools.

    + Ability to read and interpret mechanical/engineering documents and drawings.

    + Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.

    + Reliability and perfect attendance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Certificate or diploma from a CNC machining school or technical college is a plus.

    + Capability to pass drug and background screening.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment, operating during the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 5:15 AM to 1:45 PM.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $54080.00/yr.
