    CNC Set Up Technician | $24/hr

    Job Description

    As a Set Up Technician, you will work collaboratively with the team to assess priorities and execute tasks that support the needs of internal customers. You will be closely involved with the Maintenance team to support repairs and projects, maintain tooling, and participate in preventative maintenance work involving precision tasks such as handling dies and punches.

    Responsibilities

    + Reads work instructions for product specifications, dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions

    + Selects, positions, and secures cutting tools in the tool holder (chuck, collet, or tool post)

    + turns valves / coolant lines to direct flow fo coolant or cutting oil against the tool and work piece.

    + Follow standard operating production procedures and work instructions.

    + Perform operational preventative maintenance according to schedules.

    + Read dial indicators and other measuring devices to ensure quality standards are met.

    + Capability to set up machines and change over

    + Experience with lathe and press brake machines.

    + Using calipers and precision tools

    + **Pay:** 24/hr

    + **Shifts Available:**

    + 2nd Shift | Mon - Fri | 2:25pm - 10:30pm

    + 3rd Shift | 223 Schedule | 5:15pm - 5:30am

     

    Work Environment

     

    The role operates in a machine shop environment where precision and attention to detail are paramount. The position may involve working with various hand and power tools and requires adherence to safety protocols. Standard working hours apply, and the dress code is consistent with industrial safety standards.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $52000.00/yr.
