Examples of Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and lead professional development programming in collaboration with campus committees and departments
+ Facilitate First-Year and Second-Year Faculty Series and support adjunct faculty development
+ Consult with departments and create targeted programming designed to enhance student success
+ Maintain on-demand learning resources and manage the TCC website
+ Promote high-impact, equity-focused practices and faculty dialogue
+ Support mentorship, coaching, and classroom observation efforts
+ Collaborate with the Virtual Campus, Grants Office, and regional/national teaching centers
+ Oversee TCC operations, including budget, reporting, and assessment
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Associate Vice President

Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
+ Master's degree in a relevant field.
+ Experience in delivering professional development content to educators.
+ Five or more years of full-time teaching, at least two of which must be in higher education.
+ Demonstrated leadership in an academic setting.
+ Evidence of respect for and understanding of people with diverse backgrounds, abilities, and needs.
+ Evidence of commitment to the philosophy of a comprehensive community college.
+ Evidence of effective communication (interpersonal, speaking, and writing) skills
Preferred Qualifications:
+ A background in educational psychology or another aspect of teaching and learning.
+ 10 or more years of teaching.
+ Three or more years of teaching higher education, preferably at a community college.
+ Grant-writing experience.
+ Budget experience.
+ Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish, or other languages, proficiently
Additional Information:
Salary: Salary is determined based on experience, internal equity, and college budget. This position ranges from $68,843 to $70,908 and is based on the mentioned factors.
MCC offers a Flexible Work Policy for benefit-eligible employees. Types of flexible work arrangements include flextime/staggered shifts, remote work/telecommuting, and compressed work schedule. The availability of flexible work arrangements varies by division, department, and position, based on business and operational needs.
